Engagement in Maternity Research: Birth Companions Lived Experience Team & University of Birmingham

In November 2023, members of the Birth Companions Lived Experience Team came together with maternity researchers from the University of Birmingham to discuss experiences of participating in maternity research, and what women facing acute inequity and disadvantage might need in order to feel safe sharing their lived experience with academic researchers. This is what we learned.
