This report examines Home Office policies and operating procedures that have an impact on the welfare of immigration detainees. It contains a section dedicated to the situation of pregnant women in immigration detention, and recommends that the Home Office "amend its guidance so that the presumptive exclusions from detetion for pregnant women is replaced with an absolute exclusion" (p.86)
