Title:            Coordinator: Perinatal Support Service (HMP Eastwood Park)
Location:    HMP Eastwood Park and home-based with some meetings in London
Hours:         4 days per week
Salary:         £27,000 pro rata
Contract:     Fixed Term until October 2027

Role purpose
The Coordinator will deliver our perinatal support services in HMP Eastwood Park, working with pregnant women and new mothers in prison. Currently, the majority of women on the perinatal caseload are women who are separated from a baby in the community.
Working with specialist volunteers and sessional workers, the coordinator will oversee and deliver a program of wellbeing activities and support for perinatal women, including a weekly group.
The Coordinator will also manage a peer support programme through which peer supporters provide support to pregnant women and new mums in the prison, including those separated from a baby in the community. The post holder will recruit, train and supervise peer supporters from the population of women at HMP Eastwood Park. 

The post holder will be mainly based at HMP Eastwood Park and we would expect candidates to live within reasonable commuting distance of HMP Eastwood Park (GL12 8DB).
