Head of Services honoured

We are delighted to announce that Denise Marshall, Birth Companions’ Head of Services, was made an MBE in today’s birthday honours list for services to Pregnant Women and to New Mothers in Prison.  

Denise is our longest serving member of staff, having been involved with the organisation right from the beginning, and has been a huge influence in developing Birth Companions’ unique way of working.

Denise said:  “It is such an honour to be part of the work of Birth Companions and to have met so many inspiring women”
